This is a picture from the IRC's Chad program. Nutritional screening is one of the many jobs IRC community health workers perform. This picture was taken during a camp-wide assessment of all children living in a refugee camp. Workers measured the children's upper arm circumference. Children suspected of having a nutrition problem were referred to the IRC nutrition center for additional weight for height tests. If the tests indicated a problem the children were admitted into the IRC's therapuetic feeding center or supplementary feeding center.
