The captain who ferried us to the Indonesian island of Palau Aceh tells us about how fortunate he is, how he was out to sea some 40 miles on the day the tsunami came. He says that he even managed to catch two tons of fish that day, only to come back in the evening to witness the decimated boats of other fishermen. Photo essay >
