NYC Event to Assist Katrina Victims Tomorrow

The International Rescue Committee’s 22 resettlement offices are helping tens of thousands of people uprooted by Hurricane Katrina start over in cities across the U.S., including New York. We are helping locate housing for the displaced; enrolling children in school; processing applications for food stamps, Medicaid, and other services; and providing job training and placement assistance…

Join us for a sunset cruise, silent auction, and show of solidarity...

Tuesday, November 15th, 2005
Cocktails – 6 pm; Launch – 7pm
Queen of Hearts Cruises,
Pier 40, Manhattan (West Houston Street @ the West Side Highway)
$30 per person/$25 IRC staff and students

The raffle ($10 or 3/$25):
