Laila Khan and her team of IRC counselors were the only female aid workers assisting survivors in devastated Balakot, Pakistan, in the immediate aftermath of the October 8th quake. They helped ensure that aid reached traumatized women and children. Laila tells the stories of the survivors they met. Multimedia Photo Essay
